    Independent Career & Leadership Development Coach

    Lisa has more than 25 years of business experience, working in a variety of sectors and industries. With experience in HR, finance, training, recruiting and managing she is able to use her knowledge of people and situations to advise and support on all aspects of people management and personal development. Lisa is a qualified NLP Master Practitioner with 5 years experience of running her own successful coaching and development business. She understands the difficulties, challenges and successes that come from being a leader and now a business owner.  She is able to empower, motivate and support you through whatever professional or personal challenges that come your way.  
  2. Pip Storrar
    Independent Career & Leadership Development Coach

    Passionate about People Development, both in terms of 1:1 Executive Coaching as well as designing and facilitating leadership development programmes, I thrive in maximising potential and enabling individuals to develop their own authentic leadership style through coaching and development.
    Experience of working at Manager, Senior Manager, Director, Partner and C-Suite level to support individuals as they transition to management and leadership roles. I believe in experiential learning being at the heart of any formal programme to optimise individual and business performance focussing on Leading Self, Leading Others and Leading in the Business as core elements of development.

    Marketing Director

    Carla is our Marketing Consultant. After leaving University, she spent 20 years working across the full spectrum of marketing sectors and now runs her own marketing business.
     
    With experience working on a wide range of phenomenal brands insluding Nestle, Britvic, Pepsico, Unilever and Morrison's. Carla has built up a network of some amazingly switched on, strategic, creative people and works collaboratively with Spencer Edwards to develop our brand.
      
  4. Louise Harrison
    Associate Director

    With a background in Life and Pensions Louise stepped into a Specialist Financial Services Search Consultancy, where she became a reputable head hunter.

    Over the last 10 years Louise has built an extensive network of contacts and an enviable level of expertise across both the Financial Services and Marketing arenas. At home working with both global Blue Chip companies and SME’s, Louise is renowned for operating with professionalism and a strong moral conduct.

      

  5. James Johnson
    Managing Director

    James is the founder of Spencer Edwards and the driving force behind the business. Yorkshire born and bred, James is a big believer in honesty, integrity and hard work. It is these principles which direct the success of Spencer Edwards and his belief that recruitment and search practices in general should operate as a respected and valued business partner.
     
    James began his successful career in the Banking sector before developing his profession within the recruitment sector. His instinctive talent for placing Senior, Managerial and Executive level appointments has cemented his reputation as a high calibre recruitment professional in Yorkshire.

  1. ​​ Charity

    We are big believers in helping others where we can, as often as we can. There is little that comes close to the gift of giving.

    Our passion for supporting those in need has seen us push ourselves mentally and physically over the last 6 months. We've completed Tough Mudders, Bake Offs and Beard Growing competitions with a smile on our faces.

    In addition, we regularly donate time and money to those charities close to our (& our families) hearts.

    The Spencer Edwards team are all proud to be Yorkshire born and bred. We play a proactive role in the local community and take pride in giving back to the place we call home.

    We always buy local - from printer paper to lunchtime sandwiches. And we are committed to taking care of the next generation through our volunteer work with local schools.

    Members of our team also donate their recruitment and networking experience and skills to local individuals and groups trying to organise events for the benefit of the community.
